Student Spotlight: Ramon

4.03.2023

What can't this scholar do!

Described as deeply thoughtful and intelligent, the Central Catholic High School senior, Ramon, is an incredibly active student, both in and out of school. Involved with both the musical at his school, and taking up "tricking", the combination of parkour and breakdancing, he still finds time to become a published illustrator.

Alongside Dr. Chantele Mitchell-Miland, the two are publishing a children's book about a girl who wants to go to space, but worries she can't. Through Dr. Mitchell-Miland's masterful words and Ramon's inspirational art, they tell a story of how this girl can go to space and accomplish her dreams. Quite fitting, considering Ramon wants to become a video game developer to create educational games for children. It only seems fitting that he's already paving his way to his goal with this book!
