Meet our staff with our Staff Spotlight!

Nina Hoyt is a counselor with Crossroads that always shows up with a smile and a can-do attitude! She's invested in the work she does, and looks forward to contributing all she can to the scholars she helps.

Nina's time in non-profit work goes all the way back to high school, where she gained an interest in the field. After volunteering at various spaces around Pittsburgh, her interest grew and she felt confident that this would be what she pursued. She moved out to Pittsburgh during the COVID pandemic and got involved with Americorp to understand the nonprofit landscape here better. Inevitably, it lead her to Crossroads!

She is an incredibly charismatic individual with a heart dedicated to positive change. She is always looking for ways to stay active and involved with her community, including organizing a pickle ball league! Regardless of what she is doing, it is always done with heart. Thank you, Nina, for the kindness you give to people around you!
