Dwayne Coleman
Class of 2012

Dwayne graduated from Central Catholic High School in 2012. After attending Case Western Reserve University and earning his B.A. in Political Science and International Studies in 2016, he enrolled in law school at St. John’s University School of Law in New York. Dwayne was accepted on full-ride through the Ron Brown Scholarship and anticipates completing his J.D. (Juris Doctor) in 2022.

In addition to his studies, Dwayne is involved in several organizations including the Moot Court Honor Society, the Black Law Students Association, the Student Bar Association Finance Committee, and the International Law Society. When he has a free second, Dwayne enjoys spending time in the kitchen, cooking and baking, and (occasionally) playing video games.

His advice for Crossroads scholars: “Stay focused and have goals. Procrastination is real and is always tempting, but if you set real and achievable goals, it is easier to stay focused.”
